How to Pack Fragile Items Safely for HDB and Condo Moves

However, packing and moving can quickly become stressful, especially when you have fragile items like glassware, electronics, or favorite artworks that need extra care. Proper packing is essential in ensuring that your belongings arrive safely at your new home.

Labeling a box as “fragile” is not enough. You need the right packing materials and some careful planning to make sure your items arrive safely.

How to Pack Fragile Items Safely and Stress-Free

Packing fragile items can be simple. Wrap each piece with bubble wrap or paper, cover corners, and place in sturdy boxes. Fill gaps with packing peanuts or crumpled paper, seal with strong tape, and label “Fragile” and “This Side Up.” Stack heavier boxes below lighter ones. For electronics, keep original boxes; for artwork, wrap with bubble wrap and protect corners with cardboard.

Arrangement from April's service was way and beyond! She replied promptly and never fail to provide updates and to sending quotation. Not only these, the movers have to walk very far to load and unload my items and they did so with so much politeness and without showing any displeasure. April even checked in to ensure the movers are on the way to my place. The movers were so swift and careful with the items, ensuring my items will not get damaged any even stacking fragile things away from heavier boxes.
